The Dillon Debs 18U brought a 17-1 victory against Kershaw County home to Dillon in the Softball State Championship played in Marion on Monday, July 17.
Madison Bailey started on the mound for Dillon and pitched the first and second innings and part of the fifth inning.
Kurstin Hopkins pitched the third and fourth innings, part of the fifth inning, and the sixth inning.
Dillon led 4-0 after the top of the first inning and picked up 2 runs in the top of the second, 2 runs in the top of the third, and 9 runs in the top of the sixth while holding Kershaw County to l run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
