Latta High Participates In Golf Match With Three Other Teams

Manning’s Jacob Richburg earned medalist honors with a match-low round of 35 to lead Manning to a win over Latta High School, Andrews High School, and Carvers Bay High School in golf played on Tuesday, March 21.
Josh Mitchell had a 36 to lead Latta High School. Latta scored170 to take second place in the 4-team tournament.
Manning finished with a team score of 158 to win the battle of the four teams with Jacob Richburg shooting a 35; Hunter White shot a 39, McArthur Bennett shot a 41, Anders Land shot a 43, and Brice Laney shot a 46.
The Latta High School Vikings finished in second place led by Josh Mitchell who shot a 36, Josh Hicks shot a 39, Brenna Miller shot a 46, William Byrd shot a 49, and Kendall Moultrie and Bridges Young shot a 51. The Latta Vikings are coached by Athletic Director Aaron Miles.
B. Nesmith shot a 40 to lead Andrews High School who placed third with a score of 192 followed by T. Thomas who shot a 48, H. Morris shot a 51, C. Odum shot a 53, C. Newton shot a 54, and W. G. Baylor shot a 56.
Carvers Bay High School’s team score was 196 and was led by Cameron Faegan with a score of 41 followed by Tanner Andrews who shot a 48, Joseph Pressley who shot a 52, Danny Phillips shot a 55, I. Price shot a 56, and Sarah Miller shot a 60.
