The Latta Lady Vikings handed a 32-0 rout to the Mullins Auctioneers in a varsity softball game played in Mullins on Tuesday, March 28.
Hannah Jackson pitched 5 shut out innings and allowed 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6.
Latta managed to place 8 runs on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning. The Vikings added 1 run in the second inning, 6 in the third inning, 9 in the fourth, and 8 in the fifth inning.
The Vikings’ Lauren Webster garnered 5 rbi on 4 hits in 5 at-bats while Macy Hyatt and Camryn Sawyer each connected for 2 hits and 3 rbi in 3 at-bats.
The Mullins Auctioneers committed 12 errors.
Latta is 8-5 for the season. The Lady Vikings will host Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31.
