Sheriff’s Office Investigating Two Shootings

The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shooting incidents, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The first incident occurred on Tuesday, January 24, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Kentyre Road in Hamer.
According to an incident report by 1st Sgt. Michael Barfield, a female victim was getting out of a vehicle at a residence on Kentyre Road, heard some gunshots, entered the residence, and realized she was shot. The victim was transported to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon by Dillon County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.  The second shooting incident occurred on Wednesday, January 25, at approximately 3:30 a.m. at the Reflexxions Club, Arnette said.
According to an incident report by Deputy Dennis Cox, the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a shooting at Reflexxions. Upon arrival at Reflexxions, there was a male victim located inside the business that had been shot and was transported to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon by Dillon County EMS.  
During the initial investigation is was learned that a female was also shot and was transported by vehicle to a hospital in North Carolina with non-life threatening injuries.
