DCS Warriors Honored By Dillon County Council

At their December meeting, the Dillon County Council honored the Dillon Christian School Warriors football team for winning the state championship.
Dillon County Council Chairman T.F. “Buzzy” Finklea, Jr., presented a plaque to Head Coach Christian Wolfe on behalf of the council to commemorate the occasion.
The Council passed the following resolution:
Resolution of the Dillon County Council Congratulating the Dillon Christian School Warriors Football Team and Coaches for winning the 2016 SCISA Division 1A State Championship
WHEREAS, The Dillon County Council is pleased to extend special recognition to the Dillon Christian School Warriors on winning the 2016 SCISA Division 1A State Championship Title; and
WHEREAS, The Dillon Christian School Warriors football team consists of the following exceptional players: Tyreke Toomer, Bryan Davis, Jackson Wolfe, Michael Minges, Luke Price, Diaz Alexander, Gage Bazemore, Daniel Camp, John Rourke, Barnes Causey, Mason Bailey, Zane Caughill, Austin Heasley, Jared Ivey, Garret Collins, Corbin Wethington, Demontez Alford, Trent Johnson, Jared Darmon, Cooper Lane, Jon Michael Davis, Gabe Bissell, Hamilton Hodges, Nick Smith, Walt Bailey, Caleb Boykin, Jacob Dubose, Samuel Coleman, Evan Paul, Matthew Fitzgibbon, Riley Coleman, Andrew Patterson, Ereck Eck, Bradley Patterson, Dallas Feeko, Collin Hamilton, and Liam White; and
WHEREAS, Utilizing superior athletic ability, the Dillon Christian School Warriors went undefeated (13-0) to win the 2016 SCISA Division 1A State Championship Title, its third state title;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dillon County Council is adopting this Resolution, congratulates the Dillon Christian School Warriors Football Team on its tremendous accomplishments and wishes its members a bright, rewarding future; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be presented on behalf of the Dillon County Council to Coach Christian Wolfe and the entire Dillon Christian School Warriors Football Team.
This resolution is passed this 14th day of December, 2016, by the Dillon County Council in meeting duly assembled.
