Pleasant Grove Celebrates 164 Years Of Service

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church celebrated 164 years of service to the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 6.
The morning worship service began at 11:00 a.m.
After the prelude, Pastor Bert Perry welcomed everyone and made the announcements.
The opening prayer was by Pastor Bert Perry.
Music Director Patsy Rogers led the congregation in hymnals and also led the choir in a special selection.
A prayer preceded the tithes and offerings followed by the Doxology.
Pastor Bert Perry introduced Donald Foreman who has served for twenty years as the Director of Camp Pinehill in Bennettsville and at one time served for about 18 months as the interim pastor for Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Foreman and his wife have 3 daughters.
After the sermon an invitational hymn, the benediction, and the postlude followed.
Afterwards everyone was invited to a delicious homecoming meal and fellowship.
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is located at 1625 Hwy. 57 South, Dillon, S.C.
