The Lake View Wild Gators defeated Hannah-Pamplico 38-14 on Friday, November 11, in Pamplico to take the Region 6A title in varsity football action.
The Wild Gators’ Delvon Bethea rushed for 85 yards and 3 touchdowns to complete the 10-0 perfect regular season.
Lake View’s Randall Washington rushed for 168 yards and 1 touchdown while Tyshawn McDaniel rushed for 123 yards and 1 touchdown in the game.
Lake View took the early lead of the game win the first quarter while scoring 2 touchdowns. The Wild Gators added 6 more in the second quarter and another 6 points in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter the Wild Gators added 2 more touchdowns.
Hannah-Pamplico did not score any points until picking up a touchdown and a PAT in the third quarter. Hannah-Pamplico added another touchdown and PAT in the fourth quarter.
Lake View will receive a first-round bye on Friday, November 18.
