Bradley Wayne “Buddy” Lewis

Bradley Wayne “Buddy” Lewis, 63, husband of Bonnie Brenda Joye Lewis, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at his home after an illness.
Wayne was born May 12, 1953 in Marion County, a son of the late Altman Bradley Elliott and the late Geraldine Lewis Elliott. He was a truck driver.
Surviving Wayne in addition to his wife of the home are: his Children: Jay Bradley “P.J.” (Margaret) Lewis of Green Sea, Cathy (David) Baxley of Floydale and Amy (Carlton) Hilburn of Fork; his Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Lewis, Hank Baxley, Dixie Baxley, Peyton Hilburn and Summer Hilburn; his Sisters and Brother: Mary Elliott Johnson of Myrtle Beach, Sandra E. (Rick) Causey of Lexington and Dewey Bradley (Lisa) Elliott of Lexington; his Adopted Family: J.C. (Mary Jane) Sawyer of Fork, Robert (Loressa) Sawyer of Aynor, Phyllis (Bee) Reaves of Dillon and Betty Lou Hayes of Columbia; 2 Brothers-in-Law: James (Jo-Eve) Joye of Nichols and Michael (Denise) Joye of Augusta, GA; 2 Sisters-in-Law: Mary (Jay Osgood) Bailey of Nichols and Wanda (Tommy) Johnson of Green Sea; a Very Special Brother: Albert Lewis; a Special Family: Richard Bryan Turner, Tiffany Turner and Trent Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Wayne Lewis; 2 sisters, Marilyn Hughes and Cindy McHone; and 2 adopted brothers, Gene Sawyer and Thomas Sawyer.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 22, at Lake View Cemetery, with Pastor Joey E. Nelms, Sr. officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
