Dillon Christian School To Celebrate 25th Anniversary, Introduces New Staff

Dillon Christian School will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! It is with great enthusiasm that Dillon Christian School introduces all our new faculty and staff for the 2016-2017 school year.
DCS welcomes:  
Mrs. Norma W. Moody will be teaching third grade. She earned her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and her Masters from Coastal Carolina University. She joins DCS with 42 years of teaching experience.  
Mrs. Betsy Kinlaw earned a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She will be teaching fourth grade at DCS this year and has 30 years of teaching experience.
Mrs. Leslie Heasley will also teach our second fourth grade class for the new school year. Mrs. Heasley has fourteen years of teaching experience. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she earned a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in administration.
Mr. Chris Williams will teach Spanish I, II, and III in grades 10th-12th. He received his Bachelor degree from Clemson University and a Masters of Divinity from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He also completed 600 hours of language training from the Institute de Lengua Espanola in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Mrs. Shirley Jolley has joined the DCS staff to teach English for grades 9th, 10th, and 12th. She brings 28 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Jolley earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Francis Marion University.
Mrs. Marie Chavis will be teaching History for 7th, 9th, and 12th grade, as well as, science activity for our elementary students. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelors in History. Mrs. Chavis joins us with 10 years of teaching experience.  
Mrs. Kimberly Rice is our new Guidance Counselor this year. She joins us with seven years’ experience in career and academic planning at Rowan University located in Deptford, New Jersey. Mrs. Rice received her Bachelors in Website Development from Rowan University.  
Mrs. Jaime Elam will be our new administrative assistant and she will be located in the DCS office. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelors in English.  She has seven years work experience in the administrative field.
The Board of Directors, administrative team, faculty, and staff are looking forward to a successful year.
