Candace Bohachic has been selected as Teacher of the Year at East Elementary School.
She has 2.5 years teaching experience which have all taken place at East Elementary. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University in December 2013. She received her Masters of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina Upstate in May 2016.
Mrs. Bohachic states, “I am deeply honored to be selected by my peers as Teacher of the Year. They are great role models to me, and I am the teacher I am today thanks to them.”
Mrs. Bohachic is married to Coley Bohachic, and they have three kids, John Coley (7), Reese (5), and Liam (3). She is the daughter of Charlene and Chris Hamilton and David Roberts. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading. The East Elementary School faculty and students are proud to have Mrs. Bohachic as their Teacher of the Year.
