Lake View Wild Gators Softball Team Wins Doubleheader Over Creek Bridge

The Lake View Wild Gators varsity softball team defeated Creek Bridge 13-0 and 10-1 in a doubleheader played in Lake View on Friday, March 11.
In game 1 Lake View’s Ally Spivey picked up the win having pitched 3 innings .  She struck out 7, allowed no hits, and only walked 1.
The Wild Gators Jasmine Ford was 2 for 2 at the plate while  Logan Spivey and Alex Elliott each garnered 1 hit in 1 trip to the plate.
Lake View picked up 5 runs in the first inning and never looked back again.  
The Wild Gators picked up 8 runs in the second. The team garnered 13 hits.
Creek Bridge committed 2 errors while Lake View had 0.
In game 2 the Lake View Wild Gators’ Logan Spivey picked up the win.  She pitched 3 innings, allowed 2 hits, a run that was earned, walked 2, and struck out 9.
Lake View’s Kayla Page was perfect at the plate garnering 2 hits in 2 trips while Sydney Norris was also perfect in her 1 trip to the plate.  Allay Spivey connected on 1 hit in 2 at-bats.
Lake View is 3-1.
Lake View will travel to Lake City on Wednesday, March 16.
