Wildcats Win In Hard-Fought Basketball Battle With Aucs

The Dillon Wildcats boys’ basketball team defeated the Mullins Auctioneers 69-65 in region play Tuesday, February 2, in a hard fought battle in Dillon.
Dillon’s #2, Keenan Norman led the Wildcats with 28 points, 4 offensive rebounds, 3 defensive rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists.
Dillon’s #43, Ja’Quan Knowlin added 20 points while shooting 82% from the field, 6 offensive rebounds, and 6 defensive rebounds.
Rattem McClam, #42 for Dillon, garnered 9 points, a total of 14 rebounds, 7 offensive and 7 defensive, and 4 blocked shots.
Khary White, #11 for Dillon, grabbed 9 rebounds, 5 on offense and 4 on defense, 2 blocked shots, and scored 6 points in the victory.
Dillon’s Jallian Williams had 4 points and 1 rebound.
Carrian Wright grabbed 1 offensive rebound for Dillon and Rakeem Fletcher added 2 points in the victory.
The Mullins Auctioneers were led by Jalik Felton, #5, with 29 points while shooting 72% from the field, 3 defensive rebounds, 1 blocked shot, 2 steals, 5 deflections, and 9 assists.
The Aucs Hakeem Graham added 14 points, 4 offensive rebounds, 7 defensive rebounds, 2 blocked shots, 1 steal, 8 deflections, and 2 assists.
The Auctioneers #22, Javarius Smith, grabbed 10 rebounds, 5 offensive and 5 defensive, 1 blocked shot, 4 deflections, 2 assists, and 12 points.
Fabian Carroll added 5 points, 2 deflections, and 3 assists for the Auctioneers.
Nizohn Powell added 3 points and 5 steals in the Aucs loss.
Justin Harley added 2 points and 2 steals for the Auctioneers.
