Latta Boys Lose
To Hemingway
The Hemingway Varsity Boys basketball team defeated Latta, 70-40, last week.
In the first period, Hemingway led Latta, 19-10. Hemingway added 13 more points in the second period and Latta added nine points bringing the score to 32-19. In the third period, Hemingway put 23 more points on the board while Latta got 15, bringing the score to 55-34. Latta added six more points in the third period while Hemingway added 15 for a final score of 70-40.
Tyquan Porter led the team with 14 points, followed by Devonte Porter with nine points, Tyreek McAllister with six points, Jordan Sims with six points, and Kartilus McFadden with five points.

Pee Dee Academy Defeats Dillon
Christian School Boys
Pee Dee Academy defeated Dillon Christian School’s boys basketball team, 52-33.
Anthony Williams led Dillon Christian’s scoring with 12 points. Others scoring were Ross Carlyle with five points, Michael Minges with five points, David Williams with three points, Nick Smith with two points, Jackson Wolfe with two points, and Bryan Davis with one point.
