Clarence King, 90, of Lake View, SC went to meet His Lord and Savior, Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
He was born August 10, 1925, to the late Frank and Dora King. He served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II.
He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church for 53 years.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 69 years Ruby King of the home; his daughter, Sara (Bobby) Elvington of Lake View; sons, Billy (Ellen) King of Lake View, Wayne (Becky) King of Lake View, and Paul (Pam) King of Lake View; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents; daughter and son-in-law Jeanette and Jimmy Poston; sons, W.C. (Buddy) King and Kenneth E. King; grandson, Richard C. Elvington.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at Pyerian Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will be held at Lake View Cemetery, Lake View, SC. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home.
