Latta Girls Defeat Creek Bridge
The Latta High School Varsity Girls Basketball team defeated Creek Bridge, 54-17.
Takeira Legette scored 25 points and had eight rebounds and nine steals.
Mallory Townsend followed with 13 points. Others scoring were Green with nine points, Gandy with four points, and Campbell with three points.
Hemingway Defeats Lake View Girls
The Hemingway girls defeated Lake View, 47-18. Olivia McDaniel scored more than half of Lake View’s total points with 11.
Others scoring were Ford with three points, Bethea with two points, and Cribb with two points.

Hold Alumni Baseball Game
The Lake View High School Alumni Baseball Game is Saturday, February 20, 2016. Registration and warm-up will begin at 10 a.m., with the game starting at noon. The 1995 State Championship Team will be recognized during the pre-game activities.
Dixie Youth Baseball Sign-ups
Sign-ups for Dixie Youth Baseball are being held at Family Sports Center Monday – Friday 10 – 6 and Saturday 10 – 2 thru February 26.
Must be 4 years of age by May 1, 2016 thru 12 years of age to play in Dixie Youth.
If you will be 13 before May 1, 2016 you will be eligible to play with Dixie Boys.
