On January 14, 2016, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the Hamer area in reference to an armed robbery.
According to an incident report by Deputy Luke Brunson, the victim arrived home from work and was getting out of her vehicle.
Upon exiting the vehicle she stated that she was rushed by two male subjects armed with guns and demanded her purse. The victim handed over her purse and the suspects ran away.
