The Dillon Herald and East Dillon Baptist Church’s annual food and toy drive was once again a great success thanks to the community’s generous support.
Although the drive had a slow start, it had a big finish with many churches, school organizations, clubs, and area businesses and industries coming through with contributions.
Monetary donations received were spent locally at stores throughout Dillon County.
East Dillon Baptist Church handled the distribution.
A total of 53 families with 160 children were served by the drive. There were 27 professions of faith.
The Dillon Herald appreciates the public’s continued support of this drive, and we look forward to holding it again next year.
We invite you to participate with us again next year. Thanks to you many families and children had a very Merry Christmas.
