Flags Placed On Graves Of Veterans

LEVERN HAYES of the Dillon County American Legion and these Boy Scouts with their team leaders helped place flags on the graves of deceased veterans last week at Greenlawn Cemetery. Pictured are (front) Tuikeeze Respus, Cole Bracey, Emory Ellis, and (back) Levern Hayes,  James Bracey, Tanner Williams, Trenton Barker, Will Williams, and Sonny Williams.
GARRET COLLINS helped placed flags on Friday at Riverside. He is show placing a flag on his great-grandfather, Roger K. English, who served during World War II and Korea. He also placed a flag on another of his grandfather’s grave, Charlie N. Collins, Sr., WWII. Amy McColl also asissted.
Levern Hayes also placed flags at Kemper, Pleasant Grove, and Beulah  Little Rock Baptist, Little Rock Methodist, and Dothan Baptist churches. (Photo by Johnnie Daniels/The Dillon Herald)
