Lake View, S.C. -Mr. Walter Neil Moody, 67, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness. A funeral service will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Lake View United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday November 3, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View and at other times, the family will be at the Hoyt and Addie Moody Home, 724 Kemper Church Road, Lake View. Mr. Moody was born in Mullins, SC, the son of the late Hoyt and Addie Arnette Moody. He was a member of Lake View United Methodist Church. He had a deep love for his grandchildren and was an avid lover of horses. Mr. Moody is survived by his wife, Diana Price Moody, of the home; son, Ashley Moody (Danielle); daughter, Teneil Price (Tony); brothers, Gene Moody, Maurice Moody (Betty Sue), Greg Moody, all of Lake View; sisters, Ann Cooke, Maudine Sanderson (Jimmy), Luna Moody, all of Lake View, Martha Britt (Jimmy) of Marion; grandchildren, Luke, Chase, Easton, Colten and Canon; sister in laws, Faye Moody of Lumberton and Cheryl Moody of Lake View. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Moody and Lynn Moody; and sister, Adaline Moody. Memorials may be sent to Lake View United Methodist Church, PO Box 277, Lake View, SC 29563.
