The Latta High School Marching Viking Pride is composed of some of the finest students South Carolina has to offer.
The band students began preparing for this show in July in the heat of summer.
They have practiced through the heat and the rain and have put a nice show together.
The Marching Viking Pride’s show is entitled “Time Piece” and was written by Adam Wilke and Mark Hammons.
The show consists of 5 movements, all about the way we interact with time and the affect time has on us.
The Marching Viking Pride traveled to Charleston Southern University last Saturday, October 24th and performed their show at 1:00 pm. The Marching Viking Pride placed fourth out of 12 bands and that qualifies them for a state finals performance this weekend, October 31st at 7:15 p.m.
