The World Series Champions (the Dillon Dixie Darlings) were honored on Saturday. The team marched down Main Street and went to the Dillon City-County Complex. There they heard from Lonnie Turner, Mayor Todd Davis, Kevin Scott, and the coaches. The girls were pinned with keys to the city. The celebration continued at the Dillon City softball fields where the girls enjoyed a hot dog lunch.
