LAKE VIEW—The Town of Lake View council recently passed their 2015-2016 budget.
The total budget is $650,000. There is a two mill increase in the budget. Below are the changes in revenues and expenditures:
Revenues
-Current Fiscal Year Revenue: $685,500
-Projected Revenue 2015-2016; $650,000
-Percentage Change in Revenue: -5.46 percent
-Current Fiscal Year Millage: 140
Expenditures
-Current Fiscal Year Expenditures:$608,839
-Projected Expenditures 2015-2016: $650,000
-Percentage Change in Expenditures: 6.76 percent
– Estimated Millage for 2015-2016: 142
There is no increase in fees. The number of positions funded by the budget remained the same, and there were no across-the-board raises for employees. The budget is balanced.
