NEW MAGISTRATE JUDGE- Lutherine Williams was sworn in as a magistrate judge for Dillon County recently by Latta Town Judge Janette Dupree. Former magistrate John Davis held the Bible. Senator Kent Williams (pictured with Judge Williams) was also in attendance. As a result of becoming a magistrate, Ms. Williams resigned from her seat on the Latta Town Council. No special election is needed because it is with the 180-day cut off of her term. (Contributed)
