Clerk of Court Gwen Hyatt said that someone is making false phone calls in Dillon County regarding jury duty.
The caller states that the person failed to report to jury duty and now must pay a fine or they will be picked up by the Sheriff’s Office. These calls are NOT coming from the Clerk’s Office or the Sheriff’s Office.
If you receive one of these calls, ignore it or please call the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at 774-1432 to report it.
