Henry Charles Krieger, Sr., 76, died Friday, February 28, 2015 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, PA.
Services will be held at a later date. Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon, SC is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, June 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Henry Otto Krieger and Catherine Cornell Krieger. He was a former 82nd Airborne Paratrooper with the U.S. Army, and he retired from Schmidt Bakery.
urvivors include his children, Debra Price (Frank) of Raleigh, NC, Henry Krieger, Jr. of Latta, SC, Donna Krieger (Rick) of Jacksonville, NC; and Nancy Schmidt (Jim) of Waycross, GA; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; friend, exwife, and mother of his children, Linda Turner of Latta, SC; sisters, Catherine Jacobs (Ken) of Philadelphia, PA, and Emma Hendly (Bill) of Cape May, NJ; best friend, Mike Shea.
Mr. Krieger was preceded in death by his children, David and Colleen Krieger; his grandchild and great-grandchild; sisters Edith Krieger and Marguerite Sullivan; and his brother, James Krieger.
