DCS Warriors Fall to Titans

The Dillon Christian school Warriors were shut out 14-0 by the Trinity-Byrnes Titans on Tuesday, March 3, in the regular season opener for both teams.

Trinity-Byrnes scored one run each in the first and second innings before breaking loose for six runs in the third and six in the fourth to seal the win in five innings.

Cameron Pease earned the win on the mound for the Titans, pitching all five innings for three hits and seven outs.

Landry Collins took the loss for the Warriors, striking out four and allowing six runs and six walks.

Thomas Rogers and Spencer Evans each went 1-for-2 with three RBI to lead Trinity-Byrnes.

Thomas Evans went 2-for-2 to lead Dillon Christian, and Jake Boykin was 1-for-2.

Trinity-Byrnes starts the season with a 1-0 record, while the Warriors are now 0-1 as they head into the regular season.
