Latta’s #11 Davonta Porter blocks a shot from Creek Bridge in the boys varsity game.
The Latta Vikings defeated Creek Bridge 61-51 on Friday, January 16, in Latta. The Vikings took a 19-11 lead in the first quarter and were ahead 33-20 at the half.
Latta improved to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in Region 8-A. The Vikings will host Hemingway tonight and be at Green Sea-Floyds on Friday with boys action following the varsity girls game at 6:00 p.m.
