The Lake View Wild Gators hosted East Clarendon on Thursday night for a varsity basketball win for the girls and a loss for the boys.
In girls action, the Lady Gators took a 48-30 win over the Wolverines.
Olivia McDaniel led all scorers with a game-high 22 points and Jasmine Ford added 12 points in the win. Na’Kedra Page earned seven points; Kayla Page, 6; and Hannah Miller, 2.
For East Clarendon, S. Kennedy earned 12 points; K. Rose, 10; L. Shaw, 6; and J. Bradley, 2.
The Lady Gators improved to 5-1 with the win.

The Wild Gators are set to open conference play in Region 8-A tonight when they are scheduled to host the Latta Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!
On Wednesday night, the Gators will be on the road for a non-conference game against Aynor, and on Friday, January 16, Lake View will travel to Hemingway for their next region game. Game times are set for 6:00 p.m.
