Your Library: DVDs Are Free

Have you ever wondered where you can go to check out DVDs for Free? Sure I know Red Box only has them for a little over a dollar, but you can’t beat free. Well you don’t have to wait any longer to find out your local library now carries DVDs. We have children’s educational DVDs such as Yo Gabba Gabba, Nihao Kailan, Leap Frog, Dora the Explorer, and much more. If you are not looking for an educational DVD but want to watch a family movie with your child we have Marley and Me, Miracle on 34th Street, Smurfs (1&2, A Christmas Carol, True Blue friends), Spiderwick, Rio, Where the Red Fern Grows, the Reef, Brave, Charlie Brown, Chestnut, My Dog Skip, and more.  If you don’t have kids, we have DVDs to entertain you also at the library.  DVDs for adults (PG13 and R). We have the following movies: The Long Walk Home, Pride and Prejudice, The Bishop’s Wife, Magic Bell Isle, Ride Along, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Short Circuit, Beetlejuice, Robocop, Madea (Witness Protection, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Class Reunion, Goes to Jail), Thor, The Affair, Saving Mr. Banks, and much much more. There is no charge to check out movies all you need is a library card. There is two rules you can only check out three movies at a time, and they are checked out for three days so that is a movie per day. Material that is PG13 and R can only be checked out by an adult on an adult’s card. If you don’t see a movie you would like to see suggest it to staff to purchase.
