The election results were certified at a meeting on Friday, November 7th.
Based on allegations made at the meeting in regards to the District 6 council race, the Dillon County Election Commission requested that these allegations be looked at. It was turned over to the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office who has requested that SLED investigate these allegations. The Herald is told that SLED has not informed the Sheriff’s Office as to whether they will be investigating.
