Latta –Annie Mayo Lee Touchberry, 91, died at home, Friday, November 7, 2014. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta.
Mrs. Touchberry was born on October 8, 1923, in Dillon County, SC, the daughter of the late John L. and Sallie E. Bryant Lee. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and Graduated in 1946 from McLeod Infirmary School of Nursing. Mrs. Touchberry retired as a Registered Nurse at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence. She was the widow of James Levy Touchberry.
She is survived by her son, Allen Johnson (Linda) of Latta, SC; grandchildren, Robin Norton of Latta, SC and James “Jimmy” Johnson (Margery) of Dover, DE; great-grandchildren, Logan Norton and Ava Daniels both of Latta, SC. She was predeceased by her brothers, Woodrow Lee and Grady Lee.
