The Latta Vikings earned their first win of the season on the road Friday, taking down the East Clarendon Wolverine’s 34-29 at Shad Hall Field.
Latta improved to 1-4 to round out the first half of the regular season while East Clarendon slipped to 2-3.
The Vikings will open region play this Friday when they are scheduled to host the Hemingway Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Hemingway is 5-0 heading into the game.
