Dillon Christian School’s junior varsity Warriors fell 34-24 to the visiting Williamsburg Academy Stallions.
The Warriors trailed 28-8 at the half, but Dillon Christian’s John Rourke carried for a touchdown with 2:37 left in the third and ran in the two-point conversion to leave the Warriors trailing 28-16.
Williamsburg scored twice more for a 34-16 lead but Rourke wasn’t done yet. He carried for a 70-yard touchdown and the Warriors followed up with a conversion for the final score of 34-24.
The JV Warriors will host Robert E. Lee Academy this Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 p.m. Make plans to attend to support our local team!
