During the Friday, September 5, Dillon Christian School football game, Shayla Hunt and Zach Hunt were both recognized for their success on their summer softball and baseball teams.
Shayla played for Latta’s 12U Dixie Ponytails, who claimed the state championship and played in the 2014 Dixie Ponytails World Series.
Zach played for the ACE Hardware Tigers, who won the Kiwanis Dixie Youth Minor League championship. He had the highest batting average on the team.
