On Monday, August 5, the Mount Calvary’s monthly Brotherhood, WMU, and BYU met at the Family Life Center at 405 Mount Calvary Road, Dillon.
After enjoying a delicious meal and fellowship the groups adjourned to the respective meeting places.
Caleb Haselden was the guest speaker for Brotherhood. Haselden spoke from Romans 1:16 and 17 and Rev. 22:20. He spoke of the Christian’s walk with God, being ashamed, the gospel, and the power of salvation. Faith saves us all. He encouraged everyone to live for God every day and not to be ashamed of the gospel.
The Brotherhood held nominations for officers. Once again Tom Rowland was elected President of the Brotherhood.
Everyone is invited to join us at Mount Calvary for the next monthly meeting to be held on Monday, September 8. Domingo Ramos will be the guest speaker.
