Services for Shirley J. Haselden Lewis will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamer Church of God with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lewis, 66, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon, SC, January 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Haselden and Eva Berry Haselden. She was a member of Hamer Church of God where she enjoyed teaching sunday school, and was retired from Wix. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, making people laugh, and preparing food for other people.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas W. Lewis of Dillon; brothers, Eddie (Joanne) Haselden of Irmo, and Jimmy (Linda) Haselden of North Charleston; sister, Margie Ann (Verney) Wiggins of Summerville, SC; 6 nephews; 3 nieces; godchildren, Matthew Darmon and Kyle Darmon; brother-in-law, Gerald (Judy) Lewis of Dillon; sisters-in-law, Lorene Turner of Dillon and Juanita (L.T.) Blackmon of Coward.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her daughter, Tommie Dawn Lewis; and her sons, Edgar Parker Lewis and Thomas Gene Lewis.
