Dillon – Dewey Miller, 59, died at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, July 4, 2014. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M., Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with interment in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mr. Miller was born in Dillon, SC, the son of the late Luther and Lutie Madeline Watts Miller. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He worked at Wellman Industry, Darlington, SC and Silverleaf Construction, Florence, SC as a Master Welder. He was predeceased by his son Dewey Shane Miller.
He is survived by his son, Chuck Miller of Society Hill, SC; brothers, Wayne Miller (Betty) and Michael Jesse Miller (Deborah) both of Dillon, SC: sisters, Kathryn Miller Arnette of Dillon, SC, Teresa Miller Mishue (Holmes) of Dillon, SC, Deborah Miller Webster (Wayne) of Florence, SC, and Cindy Marie Miller of Dillon, SC; seven nephews; one niece; seven great-nieces; one great- nephew; and three great-great-nieces.
