Dear Editor:
I had the distinct pleasure of attending an engagement part this past weekend at the home of Dr. Phil Wallace.
This was my first social event in Dillon but not my first trip to the county. My grandmother was born and reared in Lake View. My family in Dillon County are the Roziers and the Bryants.
I wanted to take a moment to mention a few thoughts on Dillon. There are very few communities I have visited where I have been blessed with the cordiality of the people I met this past weekend.
Dr. Wallace and his family are wonderful people and so were the rest of the attendees that night.
Dillon is a great community, and I would love to see it grow and prosper.
Thank you to all the people (including some of my cousins in attendance that night) who opened my eyes to a wonderful Southern city filled with wonderful people.
