Mount Calvary Baptist Church held sunrise services at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, April 20, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
Dr. Greg Hyler opened the services with prayer followed by the congregation singing “My Tribute” and “Low in the Grave He Lay.” Music director Gene Tanner sang a solo. Dr. Hyler’s sermon was from Luke 24. The benediction and blessing followed before breakfast, and fellowship was enjoyed by all.
The Sunday School time began at 10:00 a.m., and morning worship began at 11:00 a.m.
The Mount Calvary Adult Choir presented the Easter Musical, “Jesus, Messiah,” and Easter services continued with Dr. Hyler delivering an Easter message from John 19:26-30 and Luke 23:46.
