Dillon’s Lady Wildcats hosted Kingstree’s Lady Jaguars on Tuesday, February 25, in the third round of the girls Class AA lower state basketball playoffs. Dillon edged Kingstree 50-49 with Yolanda Campbell sinking the game winning free throw as time expired.
The Lady Wildcats will take on Bishop England this Saturday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Florence Civic Center for the Class AA Lower State title. The winner will advance to the state championship on Saturday, March 8, at the colonial Life Arena in Columbia.
