A variety of information will be available for Veterans including: women’s care; military sexual trauma program; mental health programs; suicide prevention; VA research; Chaplain Services; audiology and speech; employment; dental programs; volunteer programs; homeless Veterans programs; cardiology; and more.
“As part of our National Salute Week activities, it is the perfect time to host the Open House for Veterans as the celebration held the week of February 14 each year is when we invite groups and individuals in to visit us,” said Andrews.
Dorn officials noted that flu shots will also be made available for Veterans.
“The flu is still extremely prevalent as South Carolina has experienced more than 26,000 lab-confirmed flu cases, with 1,329 hospitalizations and 49 confirmed deaths,” said Andrews. “We want to provide another opportunity for the flu vaccine to help protect our Veterans and their loved ones.”
