A fatality has been reported on Hiniard Drive, off Road 30, in Lake View. The S.C. Highway Patrol is handling the incident. No further details were available.

One man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Road 30 in Lake View at approximately 8 p.m., according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
A Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on Road 30 when it went left of center and hit a Dodge traveling east on Road 30.
The two people on the motorcycle were ejected.
The driver of the motorcycle, who was not wearing a helmet, was killed. Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies him as Anthony Pittman, age 36, of Fairmont, North Carolina.
The passenger, who was wearing a helmet, on the motorcycle was airlifted to McLeod in Florence with serious injuries, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
