Clara Louise Daniels Williamson

Clara Louise Daniels Williamson, 89, of Dillon, S.C. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2013. She passed away peacefully and the Angels took her home after a short illness in McLeod Hospice at McLeod Hospital, Dillon, S.C.
Born in Dillon County, S.C., on September 23rd, 1924, she was the daughter of James Rushin Daniels, Sr. and Annie Eliza Ashby Daniels. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Howard P. Williamson.
Ms. Williamson was a very hardworking woman who did not let her disability from Polio slow her down. While working in the legal field for forty-six years at the law offices of Mr. Hubert Britt and Mr. William J. McLeod. When Mr. McLeod became a judge, she went with him and then retired in 1989 to take care of her husband who had cancer.
In her life, she was very much loved and respected by both family and friends. Ms. Williamson is survived by her daughter, Linda (Charlie) Rolf of Orlando, Fl.., and a son, Howard Glenn Williamson of Dillon, S.C. Her grandsons are Eric Steffan (Hope) Williamson, Raleigh, N.C., Phillip Russell Williamson, Florence, S.C., Daniel  Blake Williamson, Augusta, Ga., Jason (Jackie) Kenny, Orlando, Fl. Her granddaughter is Savanna Lynn Williamson, Marion, S.C. She also has six great-granddaughters and one great-grandson (Erika, Steffanie, Emily, Clara, Courtney, Paige, and Keaton). Her nieces include Selene, Barbara, Imogene, Betty, Donna, Michele, Claudia, Carolyn, and Frances. The nephews are Tracy, Sam, and Dale.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at East Dillon Baptist Church, 702 South 16th Ave., Dillon, S.C. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
