The Town of Latta’s Holiday Forest is now open, according to Recreation Director Ann Jackson.
The Holiday Forest is located on Academy Street in Heritage Park right beside the Latta Community Center.
On Friday and Saturday, Santa will make a special appearance, and hot cocoa will be served.
An extra special feature this year is that it will snow in the forest, Jackson said. The date will be advertised at a later time.
While admission is free, visitors are encouraged to bring a canned good or toy for the toy and food drive to benefit needy in the area.
The lights will be on every night. The last night for the lights is December 25th.
