Inez Pridgen Huggins

 Services for Inez Pridgen Huggins will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
     Mrs. Huggins, 85, of Rowland, went to her heavenly home Friday, November 29, 2013, surrounded with love of her family.
     Born in Horry County, SC, June 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Zeb Pridgen and Martha Harrelson Pridgen.  She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was retired from West Point Pepperell in Lumberton.  She was the widow of the late Duncan “Dunk” Huggins.
     Survivors include his daughters, Margaret (Joe) Collins of Marion, Linda (Jerry) McKellar of Dillon, and Barbara Huggins (Ted Jacobs), of Dillon; sons,  Joe “Son” (Faye) Huggins of Dillon, Dan (Gladys) Huggins of Lumberton, NC,  Mack Huggins of Lumberton, NC, and Kenny (Helen) Huggins of St. Paul, NC; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren; special friend & roommate, Rosie Brown.
     Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Marilyn Walsh; son, Jackie Huggins; grandson, Joey Huggins; and her granddaughter, Tammy Huggins.
     The family would like to say a special thanks to the Pines Nursing Home Staff for the care given to Mrs. Inez.
