Services for Carolyn Cooper will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Little Bless Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Little Bless Church.
Mrs. Cooper, 63, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, January 31, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Roberts and Luberta McDowell Roberts. She was a member of Little Bless Holiness Church, and was employed by Mohawk for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Mitchell Cooper, Sr. of Latta; sons, Mitchell Cooper, Jr. and Ricky Cooper of Rockaway, NJ; grandchildren, Zachary & Emily Cooper of Gastonia, NC, Hannah, Hailey, and Harley Cooper of Latta, Alycia Cooper of Montville, NJ, and Andrew Cooper of Latta; sisters, Virginia Roberts, Lila Turner, Annie Alford, Emma Dial, and Ellen Bass, all of Latta, and Kathy Tableau of Marion County; brothers, Lewis, Mack, William, Larry, Joseph, and Tracy Roberts, all of Latta.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her son, Jason Cooper; and her sisters, Doris Meggs and Betty Lou Sweat.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Carolyn Lee and Hospice of South Carolina for the care given to Carolyn during her illness.
