After receiving a bye in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs, the Wildcats will be at home this week to host Wade Hampton at 7:30 p.m.
Eighth-seeded Wade Hampton defeated Battery Creek 57-20 on Friday night in the Class 2A, Division I playoffs to advance to face the top-seeded Wildcats. The Red Devils are 5-6 so far this season.
Elsewhere in the lower state bracket, twelfth-seeded Waccamaw defeated Edisto 18-13 to advance to face Lake Marion this Friday; Aynor defeated Marion 52-26 to advance to face Timberland; and Ridgeland-Hardeeville defeated Lake City 14-12 to continue on to face Loris.
In the upper state bracket, Cheraw will host Columbia this Friday; Pelion will host Crescent; Keenan will travel to Fairfield-Central; and Newberry will be at Pendleton.
In Class 2A, Division II, Barnwell defeated North Charleston 45-20 to advance to face Silver Bluff this Friday; twelfth-seeded Kingstree defeated fifth seed Mullins 50-34 to continue on to face Woodland; Andrews defeated Calhoun County 42-14 to advance to face Bishop England; and Garrett defeated Lee Central 14-6 and will travel to Bamberg-Ehrhardt.
