McLeod Physician Associates and McLeod Medical Center Dillon is pleased to announce that Nantachie Chavis, FNP has joined the McLeod Hospitalist team.
Nantachie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Greensboro, NC, in 2008. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree in 2012 from the Winston Salem State University, Winston-Salem, NC. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Family Nurse Practitioner at the Medical University of South Carolina.
A Nurse Practitioner is a master’s prepared registered nurse who has completed specific advanced education and training in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions. Nurse Practitioners practice clinically and diagnose, treat, evaluate and manage short-term and long-term illnesses and diseases.
“I became a Nurse Practitioner so that I may have the opportunity to serve people in the most memorable way. Professionally, I strive to provide excellent care in the best and worst of situations. If accomplishing this, while creating smiles I will be achieving a personal accomplishment.”
Nantachie is looking forward to serving Dillon County and the surrounding areas. “I chose McLeod Dillon because of the facility’s outstanding reputation and to be a part of the enthusiastic hospitalist team. Dillon is a short distance from my home, but still allows me to serve in a local community.”
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Center.
