The Latta Police Department is seeking a suspect in a shooting that occurred on Tuesday at Whittington and Sessions Streets in Latta, according to Chief Crystal Moore. 
Police are seeking Dominique Campbell, pictured here, age 19, 201 Whittington Street, Latta, for attempted murder, shooting a firearm in town limits, and felon in possession of a firearm/use of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Campbell is accused of shooting a 19-year-old Latta man. The victim was shot in the shoulder and went to a convenience store on Hwy. 301. The victim was transported to the hospital, and Moore said he was in stable condition.

Campbell is accused of shooting a 19-year-old Latta man. The victim was shot in the shoulder. The victim was transported to the hospital, and Moore said on Tuesday he was in stable condition.
The Herald was later told he had been released from the hospital.
According to a report by Cpl. Andy Britt and Patrolman Myron Dixon, they were running radar on Highway 301 when they heard what sounded like two gunshots. They went to investigate and 9-1-1 informed them that there were shots fired on Sessions Street. There was a crowd of people, but no one wanted to say anything. They were then informed that the victim had gone to a local convenience store on Highway 301.
Through investigation, the suspect was identified. He had fled the scene.
