Services for Margaret Leon Hayes will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Open Door Baptist Church in Marion with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hayes, 77, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, September 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Richard Johnson and Cora Johnson McKenzie. She was the widow of the late J.C. Hayes.
Survivors include her sons, Danny Ray (Robin) Hayes, and Michael (Vicki) Hayes, both of High Point, NC; daughters, Elizabeth (Jim) Lester of Marion, SC, Betty Grimsley of Dillon, and Jenny (Mike) Peeler of Gaffney, SC; brother, Bob (Katrina) Johnson of Charlotte NC; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
